I have resolved within myself that I can only control myself. I can't control others. I maintain my integrity and call them by their real names.

I may ask them, which Lord, or Which God they are referring to, but that's about it.

Some of us are still learning (talking about myself here :-) It is a new walk for me, honestly. So, I would rather learn from example. So instead of correcting the family member or friend just use the correct term when in their presence. They may even open up to you and ask you questions about it...To me that would lead to less defensiveness...I grew up in a very ultra conservative "Christian" denomination. I am still a member even though I haven't attended physical services in over a year. Anyways, I know how sometimes followers can turn people away who are honestly trying to learn. I know I have to "check" my spirit to make sure what I am saying is not coming from a place of control... I still say Jesus. I am training myself (if you can call it that) to use Yeshua. Now, when I say my prayers when I find myself saying Jesus and I catch myself I will say Yeshua. Growing up in the conservative church denomination I attended I often feared and loath the classes because I was so afraid to say the wrong thing. It was very shaming. It literally took the love and joy out of learning for me! If someone corrected me every time I didn't say His name right I would probably run for the hills, lol. Everyone has a different history and baggage so it is good to be cognizant or sensitive to what they may have gone through.

I too am in the early stages of Yah's awakening. Sometimes it is hard to know what to do. When I don't correct my family and friends(or myself) every single time about something, His name, matters concerning the law and so on I wonder if I being a false witness?
At other times I feel like if I keep on drilling it ad nauseum won't that be a turn off instead of a Light that attracts and inspires the ones I love to seek Him out too.
Since His yoke is easy and His burden is light I wonder if I should be patient as He is patient and let patience have it's perfect work over time.
