I am African
I can not be denied
the lost sheep cried
I am African
though separated from the land
held secure in the palm of His hand
I am African
the proof is in my heart
that's lost when apart
I am African
my hue imprinted of the sun
the image of the Sovereign one
I am African
despite the enemies offence
a product of ancestors courage and strength
I am African
inhabiting Yah's Mighty spirit
let all the opponents hear it
I am African
