Pray all are well and staying girded in truth and seeking the Face of our Mighty Elohim!
As many of us have had to adjust to telecommuting for work we have seen decreased ability to get in basic daily walking and I would like to encourage everyone to remember to get up from your desk once every 30-60min and stretch. Take some deep breaths and give your eyes a rest for( minimum of 60 seconds) from the damaging lights of our computers. (if your position is sedentary).
This also helps your joints to limit strain from repetitive motions that can cause long term damage if we are not mindful to move all parts of our bodies. ( think carpel tunnel syndrome, neck and back aches/pains, and swelling of lower extremities from sitting too long)
Given we are homebound a good way to work almost every muscle would be to Plank everyday. I began this 5 years ago. Started doing this daily for 30 seconds until I could hold up to 1min then increased time up to 3 min at one point. I found over this year I have slacked off but plan to reimplement. There are many benefits for such a simple position.
(Side note- I lost at least 5 pounds in less than 2 months, just from planking alone all those years ago and it did not consume too much time more)
