CHANUKAH is a memorial that happens every year in the Hebrew month of Chislev, the ninth month on the 25th day of the month. Chislev falls in the month of December on the civil calendar. CHANUKAH means dedication. It is eight days of celebrations to memorialize the Hebrew Israelite’s great victories over their oppressors and rededication of the temple. We are now the temple in the land of our oppressors. Take this time to reflect and rededicate your life . Clean it up and make every crooked way straight.

Chanukah begins December 25th 2020 and ends January 1st 2021.

During this time of celebration and before Yeshua's ultimate sacrifice, Yah was honored with sacrifices for delivering us and with songs of praise. The temples were decked with gold crowns and shields. The Feast of Dedication is spiritually symbolized with fire, water, and light because of the light that appeared from heaven during the time of the sacrifice. So besides decking the temple with crowns and shields, the menorah, candles, and lights are also used as decor for this celebration.

The Feast of Dedication and the Feast of Unleaven, a.k.a. Passover are similar in nature because they both celebrate those times when the Hebrew Children of Israel were delivered from the enemies. Yeshua the Christ, our Lord and Savior was born into earth to bring salvation to the Hebrew Children of Israel and rescue them from their oppressors. It is sad but true, the Lost Sheep of Israel collectively still have not repented even after another 400 years of affliction, 1619-2019.

Before real freedom, equity, and justice can happen for the Hebrew Children of Israel, repentance is absolutely necessary. The Messiah is waiting with stretched out hands. There is power in numbers. As one collective body, right where you are, repent and let’s come together to pray the Feast of Dedication prayer. We Win!

PRAYER
II Maccabee 1:24-30
24. O Lord, Lord God, Creator of all things, who art fearful and strong, and righteous, and merciful, and the only and gracious King,
25. The only giver of all things, the only just, almighty, and everlasting, thou that deliverest Israel from all trouble, and didst choose the fathers, and sanctify them:
26. Receive the sacrifice for thy whole people Israel, and preserve thine own portion, and sanctify it.
27. Gather those together that are scattered from us. Deliver them that serve among the heathen, look upon them that are despised and abhorred, and let the heathen know that thou are our God.
28. Punish them that oppress us, and with pride do us wrong.
29. Plant thy people again in the holy place as Moses hath spoken.

The Feast of Dedication is one of Yah’s many HOLY DAYS. Let’s be clear, tree decorating is NOT a part of this celebration. Jeremiah 10 declares tree decorating to be a part of a heathen culture and doctrine of vanity. The two celebrations DO NOT mix. We cannot celebrate the Savior with heathen practices. Reestablish the culture by honoring the season with real recognition of our savior's and deliverer's purpose for being born into the earth. He is willing and able to deliver us again from our enemies. Create décor and designs that symbolize the reason for the season.
