I think it's also a fear of rejection. Sometimes we really don't want to take the head and heart time to get to know someone and we're too easily turned off by people because of our "issues" or past experiences. This causes some people to reject and simply not associate with one another. We have to understand that we all come from different backgrounds and life experiences.

I also think we have to want to take and make the time to connect. I'm guilty of this. My days are pretty overwhelming right now and it's difficult to do it but I'm going to try to do better.

I am part of the Israel of God assembly. I truly enjoy gathering regardless of the bumps in the road that I've encountered. Our elder did a series on parables, which included the wheat and the tares. If we believe our bible/Torah, then this parable should hold true. Then your sole conclusion is APTTMH!! Remember, Yahshua said Mark 2:17-they that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." So, in the assembly, we are all recuperating from something, regardless. We are to love and respect them anyway, even if that means from a distance, however; it does mean stop coming together. There were several occasions I stated I was not going to return because of all kinds of issues. If I listened to that seed planted, that would have been a win for evil. I continued praying, remained consistent and obedient to the WORD, and continued my faith walk. We should never be surprised at the issues in the assembly. It is to be expected. When you attend, be light, assume a ministry regardless of how small, stay away from back-biting (corrupt fruits or acidic fruits) behavior, and be doers of the WORD.
