Yom Kippur: the Covering
A day called to intimacy. A call to come to Yah the time and the way He instructed us. On this day the priest washed before putting on the sacred garment. And washed after finishing acts of atonement with sacred garment and leave the garment in the Most Holy Place. The people fasted while they priest did his acts of atonement. Lev 16
In Isaiah 58 we see fasting done correctly allows you to shine your light, heals you and allows your calls to be heard.
We must be washed and covered with His garment before entering His Tabernacle. This covering on Yom Kippur is so we can enter Sukkot.
