I have been thinking about this a lot lately particularly in regards to FB and Youtube. I have significantly cut back on my participation in FB. I even took down the few pictures I had up and personal info. My main issue with them is the "suppression" of information. I also don't care for how people use FB to brag about their "blessed" life, lol. I always felt it was rather narcissistic in a way. It can cause others to stumble and become envious. IMO you don't always have to show off what you have. When I do post I mainly post spiritual information to share my faith...Or things about health. I am a rather private person so all the years I have been on there I've never really overly shared...I do think about closing my account but in a lot of ways it is the only way (for the most part) I can keep up with some family members and friends.

I've felt it was taking too much of my personal time away from the Most High and I had to discipline myself. I feel it is part of a stronghold even though our people are teaching on it, because they show commercials between the teachings that I care not to watch. It is a thin line between good and evil!

If things are going back to Old Ancient Times then those were old ancient times and before radios, phone was in person and telegrams....we need to prepare to do these things. The problem is this world has made us so busy we don't have time for one another anymore, that's why we don't trust one another.

People like me who can't afford the Crypto Currency will have to Pray and foot it.....trusting in the Most High every step of the way.

Because of the Online Social Media many of our sons and daughters have been killed, are being sleezy and deceptive. Not good for our young children to watch those things.

Those are my thoughts.....but they will be going away because HaSatan is going to have his people take it all away so that there will be no quick and easy contact with one another. So those who depend on all these Social Medias are going to be devastated they will not be able to do their thing anymore. That is a good thing because then we can focus more on the Most High, his word, and prayer, even if it is just us and him.

I know what you mean Brother T also anything can be an idol if you put it in the wrong position in your life and use it without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. When we are lead by the Spirit of Eloihim, He can use it for His purpose as well. Everyone should seek to obey Yah in everything we do.

...and yet here we all are on a platform that in many ways resembles Fakebook, reddit, and the others. What sets this platform apart is the content shared. I am in no way supporting the nefariousness of those other platforms when I say, that had it not been for the existence of them MANY wouldn't know much of what they claim to know about the truth now. There are brothers and sisters STILL on those platforms who are searching for something close to the truth just like we did, and sadly will not find it if everyone telling pieces of that truth just decide to disappear into their separate echo chambers. Are those platforms the belly of the beast, are they a den of vipers... YES, but YAH has given the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and I for one plan to do it and use their devices against them while doing so.

We know that it is not a sin because din is the transgression of the law. In the midst of my search in 2014-2015, I slowly mooned walk out of the Roman Christian due to preaching that came out of youtube. What stand meant for evil, Abba made to awake the dry bones. Today, I am on only youtube, and
Instagram for business. I have decided not to get pulled in with the other 10+ social media platforms including facebook.

I agree we must limit ourselves from these sites. This scripture came to my mind. Romans 15:1
We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Being honest to yourself you know if you can handle the wickedness on these sites as you share the good news of Yah. When you are truthful as to why you are on these sites you will do the work of Yah or the enemy.

Shalom. I use those platforms to spread the Truth and talk about the Commandments. Nothing else.

The way I look at it is that, The Most High can utilized any think or person do do his will. Haven't it been for YouTube I would have not learned all I have learned in the last 3 years regarding my true Hebrew heritage and culture. In Social media I found teachers, inspirational lectures, book suggestions, documentaries, this group etc. There are many out there that still need to be fished out from out the world to come into the understanding of whom they are. Social media is still a good tule for that. Praying for a portioned of the spirit of The Most High for deserning and unnderstanding of what is his true has help me much with weeding out strange teachings. 🤗🙏🏾

Good topic! I am kinda torn on this one. Although I don't use FB or really any of the social media platforms, It has made it hard for me to learn and use this one. That being said, my conflict is this. Messiah did not just go to the righteous but said he came for the sick, Mr 2:16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? Mr 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. There are some really sick people on FB and other platforms. Most of Israel is still sleep and where are they at? On those other platforms and in churches that do not teach to keep the statues, laws, commandments and judgements of YAH. From what I hear, we need platforms like Hebrew Connect because of censorship and also a safe place for those of us of like mind. But when fishing I believe it is necessary to go where the fish are at. I fish here because I am looking for "brothers" and sisters who are already in truth and who may want to take it to the next level and live in a community in the real world with like minded believers. Over the years I have learned that "I" ain't saving no one. It is YAH that is doing the work. Mt 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. YAH is doing the calling and YAH is doing the choosing. So I think as long as you are able to walk in your salvation and not be tempted by the enemy then you should fish where the species of fish you are looking lives. For sinners definitely FB and other platforms. For those already in truth looking to perfect their walk as our Elohim has said be thou perfect for I am perfect, I would expect to find them in these waters. Just My Humble Opinion. Happy Sabbath Achi, I although I understand the question and like it, I think we have to reach people on whatever platform we can use at the moment. Basically, it depends upon the mission. If we are already awake and know who we are then this is definitely the platform we should be using to communicate, educate and enlighten each other, however most of our people are not awake and are not here on this platform they are on the worldly platforms. I am not on FB or Youtube and never have been seems to be too much mess for me so I have stayed away from social media sites period. Which consequently has caused me a learning curve here on Hebrew Connect. Perhaps the better question would be "Are we mixing Holy with unholy by allowing every wind of doctrine here on this site" Perhaps the issue is who has that truth I know for me, I don't care who is right, I just want to know what is right, that I might do it. We have got to get it right! Shalom.
