This was a good watch i agree with you excellent achi - have you read the book they talking about. They book they refused to publish for over 86 years? Im reading it now its called Barracoon. Its an interview, phonetically written to maintain the integrity of how the last living survivor on this exact slave ship sounded. The book was finally published in 2018. Check out this quote:

"Yeah, in Afficky we always know dere was a God; he name Alahua' but po' Affickans we cain readee de Bible........"

His real name is Kossola and he was captured at 19. It says

"Kossola was born Circa 1841, in the town of Banté, the home to the Isha subgroup of the Yourba people of West Africa."

He says Dahomey raided them the female warriors came in and those who tried to escape were met at the gates by the men warriors and got their heads chopped of and sold the survivors, they boarded the ship Coltilda at the port of Ouidah.....
