The news makes me sad on so many levels!
I am not made of steel, so I won't pretend as though I am unaffected by environmental/societal stimuli.
I must first confess that if the affirmations of my mom and dad weren't with me, If I was less scared and had more money, I too might be pressed to pursue this type of surgery.
Sometimes I tell Abba that I wish He had let me pick from the catalog the shape I wanted. I am working with Abba to discover the root cause of why total acceptance of how He shaped me is such a shaky matter. Hard conversations to have with Him for sure. It's a lot of soul searching work!
When a woman feels unattractive or under attractive it messes her up inside! Remember Leah and Peninah? It's an issue with a long history eh?..How might we shift our standards of beauty from outer qualities to what Yah says in Prov 30 v 31? It's a journey! Sigh.
