Is anyone else seeing A LOT of heathen posts and what appears to be spam ads in their timeline? If so, what can be done about it?

To answer your question, more Hebrews need to be active on the platform than we are. I would love to hire a team to moderate the platform throughout the day and night. But I'm barely breaking even on the cost of running these platforms. Choosing volunteers isn't an option, because most of our people are not faithful. I write this from experience. I can't force people to use HebrewConnect, and I can't top Heathen from creating accounts and posting. Once I see the heathens and their posts, or am notified when a member flags their content, I remove them. Sad fact is, the heathen are more persistent and faithful to try to get on this platform then our own. Should not be.
