The Tale of My Olive Tree
I had an olive tree that was full, vibrant, and beautiful. I cared for the tree daily and was always struck by its strength. It endured spring, summer, and fall. For the winter I brought it inside to protect it, because it was precious to me. It thrived for a time and began to shed its old leaves. I knew this was ok because new ones would come in one day. This olive tree grew bare and yet her branches were strong. In my house there was heat, light and warmth, then the olive tree began to sprout off new leaves small and not as vibrant as the first. Still amazed, I began to feed it and water it and move it toward the sunlight. It was trying to maintain its strength. When spring appeared to arrive, the date said it was spring and the weather was warm. So i put my olive tree out of my house into my courtyard to enjoy the spring warmth. Little did i know the weather was not steady yet...my little olive tree endured increased heat, then sudden cold, and on and on with the ups and the downs, fair conditions and not so fair. All of the olive tree new leaves died and fell away. It appeared the olive tree did not survive. But I couldn't give up on it. I transplanted my olive tree to a new pot, with new potting soil, with new feed. Still nothing, just dull branches, yet still beautiful to me. I hoped, I prayed, I just could not let go.
Having moments similar to my olive tree, I went out to walk in my garden, as per the usual, I passed by the olive tree. I said in my heart to The Most High, You are Perfect, Righteous and Just and You know all things, I do not expect to see anything this day, but can this tree live? At first glance, I missed it, then there it was, at the bottom of the tree coming from its heart, new leaves! My olive tree is alive!

Zechariah 4:2-3
[2]And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
[3]And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

Revelation 11:4
[4]These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
