Why is wisdom feminine? A woman is a Ezer, helper. She knows what to do to get closer to Yah and live a productive fruit bearing life.
In Proverbs 9:1-6, the woman teaches a man understanding of Torah. Also, it looks like wisdom is in the Holy Place with the Menorah and the table Showbread, & the bread where each item means something to Yisrael.
Wisdom is training your palate on the Word. Understanding is walking in that training of the Word.
