From the Testament of Joseph, Eleventh Son of Yacov.
(beginning at verse 3)
'I have seen in my life envy and death, yet I went not astray but was preserved in the truth of Y'HUAH.
These brethren hated me, but YAH loved me.
They wished to slay me, but the El of my fathers guarded me.
They let me down into a pit, but the Elyon brought me up again.
I was sold into slavery, and the Adon of All made me free!
I was taken into captivity, and YAH's strong arm (Son of the Right Hand) succoured me.
I was beset with hunger, and Y'HUAH himself nourished me.
I was alone, and Elohim comforted me. I was in prison and my El visited me.
I was in bond, and He released me.
