Love Again
From the beginning YAH was here
You created all things we see everywhere
You fashioned and formed without hesitation or doubt
You brought to life when You breathed Your Ruach into my mouth
In You, O YAH, my joy is complete for You have called me to walk
In all humility and meekness perfecting even my talk
Seasoned with salt and the most pleasant savors
YAH patiently taught me the gift of loving my neighbors
You watched me closely and never did You forget
You disciplined me at my worst and blessed me with Your best
YAH opened my eyes and showed me His light
When I once was blind, YAH gave me sight
Your loving commitment You never withheld from me
You knew I would go astray but You told me You would never leave
YAH sought me out even in the valley of death
You assured me through Your promises that You would give me rest
When mine enemies come against me from every side
And there only purpose is to open their mouth wide
They speak not righteousness or matters of peace
But their words are filled with iniquity, dishonor, and deceit.
YAH kept not silent and was never far from me
You awaked to my cause and executed Your judgement righteously
When my eyes were filled with tears from the pain, betrayal, and hurt
My loving ABBA stepped in and nurtured me as a babe at birth
Your righteousness is like the great mountains preserving man and beast
Your loving kindness is excellent, my trust is under the shadow of Your wings
In the secret places of my prayers, I have not despised Your Name
I rest in You and wait patiently for Your kingdom and Your will to be done again
I plead for the daily bread that only You can give
For every Word that proceeds out of Your mouth, by that I shall live
YAH forgave my transgressions and set me on a rock
You made my crooked paths straight and gave me a narrow path to walk
So my tongue shall speak of Thy praise all the day long
O YAH, You are my banner, redeemer, and tower so strong
When I feel I can’t go on You carry me to the end
Your love, O YAH, won’t let me forget what it feels like to love again
