Shalom Family,
It’s with great anticipation and reverence that we invite you to join us for the 2025 Savannah Israelite Conference, taking place June 27–29 in one of the most historically rich cities of our people’s journey—Savannah, Georgia.
This isn’t just an event—it’s an opportunity to trace the footsteps of our ancestors, honor the resilience of our fore-parents, cry out to the Most High YAH from the land of our captivity, and move forward in power, knowledge, and unity.

📍 Friday, June 27 – “Slaves in the City” Walking Tour
We begin this sacred weekend with a powerful walking tour tracing the original path of enslaved Israelites as they arrived at the Savannah River Port. Step by step, we’ll follow the tragic route they were forced to walk—from the docks where they disembarked to the places where they were examined, warehoused, and ultimately auctioned like cattle.
You’ll hear the untold stories of their first moments on American soil—many of whom were stripped of everything but their identity as the seed of Israel. This tour will be emotional, sobering, and deeply honoring.

🤝 Friday Evening – Meet & Greet at The Vintage
After the tour, we’ll gather for a meet-and-greet at The Vintage Special Event Center, where brothers and sisters from across the country can relax, connect, and share stories. There’ll be light refreshments, heartfelt conversation, and a chance to build new bonds and reunite with familiar faces.

🌅 Saturday, June 28 – Shabbat at Sunrise on Tybee Island
Early Sabbath morning, we will gather on Tybee Island to cry out to the Heavenly Father from the shores of our captivity. As the sun rises over the Atlantic, we’ll lift up our voices in prayer, Scripture, and song—just as our ancestors once did, longing for deliverance.
This sunrise Shabbat service will be unlike anything you’ve experienced—a spiritual awakening beside the same waters our ancestors crossed in chains.

🕍 Tour of First African Baptist Church
Following the beach service, we’ll head to First African Baptist Church, the oldest Black church in North America—and the first to publicly self-identify as Israelites. We’ll explore the sacred space where faith and resistance met, where hidden messages beneath the floors and Hebrew inscriptions on the pews tell the true story of a people never truly lost.

🚌 Underground Tours of Savannah – Revealing the Hidden History
After the church visit, guests will board a bus for a citywide tour led by Underground Tours of Savannah. This isn’t your average sightseeing ride—this tour reveals the buried Black history, resistance, and survival in Savannah, including the very sites modern history books choose to ignore or erase.
