Some leaders say we shouldn’t watch or subscribe to other churches online. But if we’re truly rooted in Scripture and have the ability to discern truth, does forbidding us from hearing others show spiritual protection, or does it reveal insecurity and a lack of trust in our discernment?
I’m still learning, but I do enjoy watching other teachers. Am I wrong? At the end of the day, our loyalty is to the Most High, not to man (Acts 5:29).

As someone still learning the truth, I believe it’s wise to test all teachings and build my own understanding (1 John 4:1). Trust is something that grows as leaders show good fruit (Matthew 7:16-2, not just by position alone.
I don’t see listening to other teachers as having ‘itching ears’ (2 Timothy 4:3-4), but rather as being like the Bereans who searched the Scriptures daily to confirm what they heard (Acts 17:11).
At the end of the day, our loyalty should always be to the Most High above all (Acts 5:29). Thank you for sharing — iron truly sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).
