Same. The issues within the divide are very real and need to be addressed, but we are coming at each other with more hostility than we come for our real adversaries.

A kingdom divided cannot stand. It's on purpose. We have to choose humility... all of us. It's sad to watch.

Truth of the matter is that many [NOT ALL] Africans and Caribbeans come to the US and are selected to be in positions of preference and influence over Black Americans. While for half a century Black Americans have viewed the world through a lens of Black and White, many of those selected And Allowed to come over here have not viewed things the same way. If they commit a crime or deprave acts, they are black, but when they do something positive they are African, Haitian or Jamaican. When they get into politics they're Black, but then their policy and votes are Anti-Black when rubber meets the road.

There is incentive to not associate with Black Americans for ALL immigrants, including our cousins.

For immigrants and refugees, they are told by State and County offices to stay away from us.

A loud and vocal group of Black Americans are delineating from African and Caribbean people and culture, but I think their anger is misplaced. We have issues to address, but not in hostility.

So sad, because they don’t want Israel uniting!

There seems to be someone online uptick in nations throwing both White and Black Americans out of other nations. Growing up in NYC in 70s and 80s, I always noticed there was a unique community disconnect with Caribbeans and the Africans. We only came together in unity at church every now and then. Misunderstanding, yelling and fights we normal. In some cases, I believed "they" thought Negros were weak and deficient because "we" had all the tools to conquer the land, but "we" had neither the aptitude nor courage to do it. I personally got along fine with everyone, but I was cautious about such issues. It's sad the problem still exists.
