Although I heard before sunrise today that this armada was only practicing "drills". However, the USA has to protect its Southern flank from either Russia or China gaining a major military foothold in America. Furthermore, I think Venezuela is the world's third largest oil producer. The U.S. appears to have been trying to lock up the global oil market for a very long time. Again, it's impossible to fight wars, if the enemies of the U.S. don't have access to oil. However, I don't think it's gonna work... it'll simply escalate a WW3 global conflict. As I said many times... a major military conflict is inevitable. It's just the beginning... the main event is Russia and China.
