Do you believe we are truly expected to live in perfection today — or is that impossible?

Many say, “Nobody’s perfect; we all sin.” But did you know the Bible actually describes several people as perfect?

Examples:
Noah — “Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9)

Job — “There was a man… whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” (Job 1:1)

Abraham — “Walk before me, and be thou perfect.” (Genesis 17:1)

David — “…a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.” (Acts 13:22)

In the Bible, perfect doesn’t mean “never making a mistake,” but complete, mature, obedient, and fully aligned with the Most High’s will.

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)

Yes, we are expected to live in perfection as Scripture commands.
No, we will never be perfect because many believe we are born in sin, our flesh is weak, and perfection is only possible through grace at the end — not in this life.
