“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”-John 14:26
The Right kind of Help…Just sharing my experience…There are times when a loved one (or stranger) may ask for my help with a particular problem…and my natural reaction is to try to help them from my own ego strength-how I think is the best way to help them rather than going to the Spirit for wisdom on the best way for that person (given who they are and what they need in respect to who they are-“How God knows them”). Doing the latter can lead to co-dependency and put the focus on me rather than God. Also “the help” that I give may not have a lasting impact or be beneficial to that person in the long run. For me to follow the Spirit’s wisdom and truth, requires that I have patience and a surrendering of my ego to His higher good for that person and myself. May I continue to work on surrendering in this area of my life. May I pray for the Spirit’s wisdom.-Cassandra B.
