Anyone have to deal with that moment when your old Christian friends call you saying that they just want to talk and so they ask.
Christian:"Well brother what have Yahweh been revealing to you lately?"
Me: Living in his righteous and truth keeping his Commandments to the best of my agility.
Christian: Brother you don't have to do that. All you have to do is have the fruit of the spirit but all that law stuff is fulfilled in JC.
Me: really okay well I'm going to continue to keep Yahuawah law for it's a delight and his promises are to his chosen people to those that repent and turn back to him. Haven't you read that in the scriptures?
Christian: brother I just read Deuteronomy but all that is done away with brother. He has a New Covenant and it's for all people.
Me: Yohoshua said that his brother and sister and mother are those who keep his Commandments. Hey take care and turn back to Yahuawah. Repent . Shalom.
I have very little tolerance lately with this nonsense. Mispacha pray for Yahuawah patience for me. Todah!
Why studying the Hebrew meaning matters...
The first murder was recorded in Genesis. At chapter 4 verse 9, we have the often-quoted "...Am I my brother's keeper?"
in Hebrew, it is " Anoki Ach HaShamar".
What the word "ANOKI" means is not just "I AM". Proof is in Exodus 34:11. This is the same word Yahuah uses to command attention at his actions of driving out the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
So Cain was saying/asking, "Aren't you, Yahuah, my brother's guardian/keeper?"
