Psalm 4:5 - Offer Offerings of Righteousness and Trust YAH.

Offerings are not offerings when they are from such an abundance that the loss is not felt. They must be recognized as a deprivation of resources.

Three times per year Israel was to bring an offering to Yerusalem. This act was a deprivation of one of your flock and the time and travel resources lost to deliver it. It was felt.

Fasting remains the only means of offering left to us. Deprivation of comfort, energy and enjoyment felt for as long as the fast endures.

The result?
Psalm 4:6... YAH lifts the Light of His face upon us.
Psalm 4:7... He puts gladness in our hearts (greater than an abundant harvest)
Psalm 4:8... He gives us Shalom, peaceful sleep.
Psalm 4:8... He gives us the assurance of His care, dwelling in Safety.
