As The Most High continues to help me leave the culture behind. It is proving to be more difficult than I would have expected. When one is raised doing everything the culture does, celebrating all its Holidays and doing things without thought because "it's just what we do". As I am reminded that as a believer, I'm called to set my mind on things above and not on earthly things that will pass away. Just like the song I have decided to follow Jesus, and as difficult as it may be. I've been called to leave the world behind.
