Many of us have grown up saying "HalleluYah" without questioning its origin or accuracy in the original iBāRiY of our ancestors.

The truth: the pure iBāRiY phrase is actually "HāLaL LəYāH" (𐤄𐤋𐤋 𐤋𐤉𐤄).

1️. What Does "HāLaL LəYāH" Mean?

✅ HāLaL (𐤄𐤋𐤋) = "Praise"
✅ Lə (𐤋) = "To"
✅ YāH (𐤉𐤄) = The short form of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s Name

💡 Correct iBāRiY phrase:
🔥 HāLaL LəYāH = “Praise to YāH!” 🔥

This keeps the words distinct, pure, and aligned with ancient sentence structure.


2️. Why "HalleluYah" Is Not Pure iBāRiY

The term "HalleluYah" (הללויה) comes from later Masoretic Hebrew. While meaning is similar, it:
