1 O thou that dwellest in the covert of the Most High, and abidest in the shadow of the Almighty;
Χ ΧΦΉΧΦ·Χ¨--ΧΦ·ΧΧΧΦΈΧ, ΧΦ·ΧΦ°Χ‘Φ΄Χ ΧΦΌΧΦ°Χ¦ΧΦΌΧΦΈΧͺΦ΄Χ; ΧΦ±ΧΦΉΧΦ·Χ, ΧΦΆΧΦ°ΧΦ·Χ-ΧΦΌΧΦΉ. 2 I will say of the LORD, who is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust,
Χ ΧΦ΄ΦΌΧ ΧΧΦΌΧ ΧΦ·Χ¦Φ΄ΦΌΧΧΦ°ΧΦΈ, ΧΦ΄Χ€Φ·ΦΌΧ ΧΦΈΧ§ΧΦΌΧ©Χ; ΧΦ΄ΧΦΆΦΌΧΦΆΧ¨ ΧΦ·ΧΦΌΧΦΉΧͺ. 3 That He will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Χ ΧΦ°ΦΌΧΦΆΧΦ°Χ¨ΦΈΧͺΧΦΉ, ΧΦΈΧ‘ΦΆΧΦ° ΧΦΈΧΦ°--ΧΦ°ΧͺΦ·ΧΦ·Χͺ-ΧΦ°ΦΌΧ ΦΈΧ€ΦΈΧΧ ΧͺΦΆΦΌΧΦ°Χ‘ΦΆΧ; Χ¦Φ΄Χ ΦΈΦΌΧ ΧΦ°Χ‘ΦΉΧΦ΅Χ¨ΦΈΧ ΧΦ²ΧΦ΄ΧͺΦΌΧΦΉ. 4 He will cover thee with His pinions, and under His wings shalt thou take refuge; His truth is a shield and a buckler.
Χ ΧΦΉΧ-ΧͺΦ΄ΧΧ¨ΦΈΧ, ΧΦ΄Χ€Φ·ΦΌΧΦ·Χ ΧΦΈΧΦ°ΧΦΈΧ; ΧΦ΅ΧΦ΅Χ₯, ΧΦΈΧ’ΧΦΌΧ£ ΧΧΦΉΧΦΈΧ. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flieth by day;
Χ ΧΦ΄ΧΦΆΦΌΧΦΆΧ¨, ΧΦΈΦΌΧΦΉΧ€ΦΆΧ ΧΦ·ΧΦ²ΧΦΉΧΦ°; ΧΦ΄Χ§ΦΆΦΌΧΦΆΧ, ΧΦΈΧ©ΧΧΦΌΧ Χ¦ΦΈΧΦ³Χ¨ΦΈΧΦ΄Χ. 6 Of the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor of the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Χ ΧΦ΄Χ€ΦΉΦΌΧ ΧΦ΄Χ¦Φ΄ΦΌΧΦ°ΦΌΧΦΈ, ΧΦΆΧΦΆΧ£--ΧΦΌΧ¨Φ°ΧΦΈΧΦΈΧ ΧΦ΄ΧΧΦ΄ΧΧ ΦΆΧΦΈ: ΧΦ΅ΧΦΆΧΧΦΈ, ΧΦΉΧ ΧΦ΄ΧΦΈΦΌΧ©Χ. 7 A thousand may fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; it shall not come nigh thee.
Χ Χ¨Φ·Χ§, ΧΦ°ΦΌΧ’Φ΅ΧΧ ΦΆΧΧΦΈ ΧͺΦ·ΧΦ΄ΦΌΧΧ; ΧΦ°Χ©Φ΄ΧΧΦ»ΦΌΧΦ·Χͺ Χ¨Φ°Χ©ΦΈΧΧ’Φ΄ΧΧ ΧͺΦ΄ΦΌΧ¨Φ°ΧΦΆΧ. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the recompense of the wicked.
Χ ΧΦ΄ΦΌΧ-ΧΦ·ΧͺΦΈΦΌΧ ΧΦ°ΧΧΦΈΧ ΧΦ·ΧΦ°Χ‘Φ΄Χ; Χ’ΦΆΧΦ°ΧΧΦΉΧ, Χ©Φ·ΧΧΦ°ΧͺΦΈΦΌ ΧΦ°Χ’ΧΦΉΧ ΦΆΧΦΈ. 9 For thou hast made the LORD who is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation.
Χ ΧΦΉΧ-ΧͺΦ°ΧΦ»Χ ΦΆΦΌΧ ΧΦ΅ΧΦΆΧΧΦΈ Χ¨ΦΈΧ’ΦΈΧ; ΧΦ°Χ ΦΆΧΦ·Χ’, ΧΦΉΧ-ΧΦ΄Χ§Φ°Χ¨Φ·Χ ΧΦ°ΦΌΧΦΈΧΦ³ΧΦΆΧΦΈ. 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.
ΧΧ ΧΦ΄ΦΌΧ ΧΦ·ΧΦ°ΧΦΈΧΦΈΧΧ, ΧΦ°Χ¦Φ·ΧΦΆΦΌΧ-ΧΦΈΦΌΧΦ°; ΧΦ΄Χ©Φ°ΧΧΦΈΧ¨Φ°ΧΦΈ, ΧΦ°ΦΌΧΦΈΧ-ΧΦ°ΦΌΧ¨ΦΈΧΦΆΧΧΦΈ. 11 For He will give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
ΧΧ Χ’Φ·Χ-ΧΦ·ΦΌΧ€Φ·ΦΌΧΦ΄Χ ΧΦ΄Χ©ΦΈΦΌΧΧΧΦΌΧ Φ°ΧΦΈ: Χ€ΦΆΦΌΧ-ΧͺΦ΄ΦΌΧΦΉΦΌΧ£ ΧΦΈΦΌΧΦΆΧΦΆΧ Χ¨Φ·ΧΦ°ΧΦΆΧΦΈ. 12 They shall bear thee upon their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
ΧΧ Χ’Φ·Χ-Χ©Φ·ΧΧΦ·Χ ΧΦΈΧ€ΦΆΧͺΦΆΧ, ΧͺΦ΄ΦΌΧΦ°Χ¨ΦΉΧΦ°; ΧͺΦ΄ΦΌΧ¨Φ°ΧΦΉΧ‘ ΧΦ°ΦΌΧ€Φ΄ΧΧ¨ ΧΦ°ΧͺΦ·Χ Φ΄ΦΌΧΧ. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and asp; the young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under feet.
ΧΧ ΧΦ΄ΦΌΧ ΧΦ΄Χ ΧΦΈΧ©Φ·ΧΧ§, ΧΦ·ΧΦ²Χ€Φ·ΧΦ°ΦΌΧΦ΅ΧΧΦΌ; ΧΦ²Χ©Φ·ΧΧΦ°ΦΌΧΦ΅ΧΧΦΌ, ΧΦ΄ΦΌΧ-ΧΦΈΧΦ·Χ’ Χ©Φ°ΧΧΦ΄Χ. 14 'Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.
ΧΧ ΧΦ΄Χ§Φ°Χ¨ΦΈΧΦ΅Χ Φ΄Χ, ΧΦ°ΧΦΆΧ’Φ±Χ Φ΅ΧΧΦΌ--Χ’Φ΄ΧΦΌΧΦΉ-ΧΦΈΧ ΦΉΧΦ΄Χ ΧΦ°Χ¦ΦΈΧ¨ΦΈΧ; ΧΦ²ΧΦ·ΧΦ°ΦΌΧ¦Φ΅ΧΧΦΌ, ΧΦ·ΧΦ²ΧΦ·ΧΦ°ΦΌΧΦ΅ΧΧΦΌ. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him, and bring him to honour.
ΧΧ ΧΦΉΧ¨ΦΆΧΦ° ΧΦΈΧΦ΄ΧΧ, ΧΦ·Χ©Φ°ΧΧΦ΄ΦΌΧΧ’Φ΅ΧΧΦΌ; ΧΦ°ΧΦ·Χ¨Φ°ΧΦ΅ΧΧΦΌ, ΧΦ΄ΦΌΧΧ©ΧΧΦΌΧ’ΦΈΧͺΦ΄Χ. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and make him to behold My salvation.'
