I wrote this song a few years ago that began as a freestyle worship and edification moment at our assembly. My heart is heavy when I look around me and within me. It's so easy to feel the pressure of the loneliness that is integral to serving the Most High. I have joy=confidence through the days where the darkness is prevalent. I made up my mind decades ago that The Most High is my only option... I'm with Him. This song is called Hold Israelites because we've GOT to get it in our heads that our present suffering is NOTHING compared to the glory (kavod) that will be revealed in us. We are so precious to Him. Even when we are acting a plum fool, YHWH, still loves us and He is attentive to our needs. He's MORE than enough. When the noise of discouragement, impatience, or despair at the enormity of the condition of our people seem to scream "Give up. Quit. Nobody cares. You're wasting your time," YOU, ISRAELITE, CHOOSE TO HOLD ON! PERIOD. There is NO OTHER option. Stop giving yourself a faulty exit plan. Trust YHWH (Insert the name you know Him by). The Almighty WILL DELIVER US. HOLD ON! Peace and blessings to the Called-out Ones. Shalom
