IN HOUSE CONVERSATION: I recently came across this video with Phil from The Advise Show and African Diaspora News Channel fame, and he was going in on our sisters a bit. He did two things that rubbed me wrong and raises an issue we have in our community. Black men and women who are externally Pro-Black yet secretly/privately married outside the covenant to NON-Black people.

The two issues I have is Phil going in on our sisters while being married to a whole White Mexican woman, and Phil defending and dismissing the role white people have had in tearing down the Black Family structure through institutional racism and notions of feminism/womanism.

I feel like if you are married outside our nation, the one area you should keep your mouth shut in, is male female relationships within our Nation of Israel. IMHO YOU HAVE LOST YOUR RIGHT TO SPEAK.

Lastly, to dismiss and deny the role white people have played in the destruction of the Black Family highlights the bias many of us feel within those married outside our Nation.

Family, how are we going to deal with these issues of premarital sex, and innapropriate relationship as teenagers? We need solutions. I ask myself where were the parents of the young sister and what possesses a young Hebrew to do such a thing. I'm looking for answers and viable solutions outside of the blame game.
