Shalom Family,
As I concluded Baruch chapter 1, a family face popped around the corner and greeted me.
“What are you reading”? He asked.
Baruch chapter 1, I replied.
“Which bible is that from”? He asked.
KJV1611 Apocrypha, I responded.
Now Family, Baruch chapter 1 caused me to weep and repent, it caused me to reflect on Deuteronomy 28, and the curses just before this Hebrew came around the corner.
Family, this brew bares the name of our nation, and he was not only a reminder of our lost state as a people, but he is a strong reminder of why we must be the salt of the earth as we are called to be.
Israel questions why we are reading non-inspired books🙈, Israel does not know his history, does not know who he is, and doesn’t understand that we are still in captivity.
Family, if you haven’t read Baruch chapter 1, please read it. Pray as I did for understanding, pray for forgiveness.
I ended my conversation by asking him to read Psalm 68:4 and to meditate on the word HalleluYAH. Ask yourself who YAH is. Don’t tell me that Hebrew or Greek isn’t my tongue and that English is, because folks, we are in captivity, we don’t know our tongue, we are blinded, and we need to seek TMH.
With that said, I realize more than ever that it is imperative that I do more intense study, that I pray for patience, wisdom and understanding as I navigate this life with all its distractions.
Be encouraged family, stay the course and please let us pray for one another, let us pray that we are counted worthy, let us pray for our brethren who are lost.
Israel reads the NIV, Israel believes in the son of Cesar Borgia or whatever his name was. Israel celebrates pagan feasts and holidays.
YAH’s people know him not! The donkey and sheep know to whom they belong but Israel does not inquire, Israel does not study!
Folks my spirit is so heavy right now.
