Per the Torah (Genesis to Revelation)
The function of Yah's prophet was to produce fruit and read His Torah:
* When Yah chose Aaron over the other people, the sign would be that his rod would blossom. His rod produced the 3 stages of a fruit: a bud, the flower, and the fruit (the almond).
* The prophets of Yah function is to read His Word and give it understanding. When they or the people didn’t live for Yah, the understanding and Word were removed. (Isaiah 29:10-12, Hosea 4:5-6, 1 Samuel 3:7) Teaching what the Word says.

What do you know about Sheerah and the daughters of Shallum? Consider studying up on these Biblical ancestors and share what you learn. The Word is so full of inspiring men and women's lives who are often glazed over amid the more prominently mentioned. And by all means, share some "lesser knowns" with me.

Due to your inquiry, I did some research and I previously did not know about them. Here's what I found:
The Daughters of Shallum (Nehemiah 3:12)
Who they were: Daughters of Shallum, son of Hallohesh, who was the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem.
Their Action: They worked with their father to repair a section of Jerusalem's wall, near the Tower of the Ovens.
Significance: They are the only women listed as contributors to the rebuilding effort in the entire chapter, highlighting their active role in community defense and service.
Sheerah (1 Chronicles 7:24)
Who she was: A granddaughter of Ephraim, noted in a genealogy.
Her Action: She is credited with building the cities of Lower and Upper Beth-horon, and Uzzen-sheerah.
Significance: She's the only woman in the Old Testament named as a city founder, showing significant leadership and building prowess in ancient times.
Key Distinction:
Shallum's daughters were contemporary builders with their father in Nehemiah's time (post-exile), working on the wall.
Sheerah was an ancestral figure from much earlier, noted for founding cities.
Together, they represent women in the Bible who broke traditional molds, taking on roles of responsibility and contributing significantly to their people's welfare and security, whether by fortifying a city or building new ones.

Esther was not chosen because she was looking for a man. She was chosen because she was discipline in her relationship to Yah, Was pure in her heart following the laws and commandments of Yah. King Ahasuerus had a queen but needed a queen who was disciplined, pure and obedient, he found that in Esther
Ruth was not chosen because she was chasing Boaz. She was working in purpose and Boaz looking for purpose in a women found that in Ruth.
Mary was not chosen to birth Yahusha Mashiach because she was in love with a man. She was chosen to carry and deliver the Saviour because she was in love with Yah
Yah cannot use a distracted heart to carry a divine assignment.
