Preparation time has passed we should already be ready

Had a chat with an African coworker today. He was saying other Africans in the land are gathering money to bring "black" people back home. I responded that was going to happen anyway. Our discussion continued and we ended up talking about other nations and how they plundered the land, stealing His precious jewels and profiting off it all to this day..an hour later I heard the news the wicked Queen Elizabeth had passed..

Wisdom of Solomon 5:15-16
[15]But the righteous live for evermore; their reward also is with the Lord, and the care of them is with the most High.
[16]Therefore shall they receive a glorious kingdom, and a beautiful crown from the Lord's hand: for with his right hand shall he cover them, and with his arm shall he protect them.

It's Thankful Thursday, family.
I am thankful for the Torah, Besorah, and the Apocrypha, where you will find life lessons on how to walk in righteousness. Daughters of Zion, how many of you are guilty of drooling over the messiness of the Housewives? Both hands are raised. I told myself, I am watching how not to be a woman. The reality is, the served tea be was juicyyyy and funny. As a new daughter in Christ, I no longer view any of the series including Housewives of Nollywood. Yes, they got the continent in on it. Most shows including the series transmitted the wrong message. Today's scripture is the main point on how we should navigate life for that I am thankful.

Sirach/Ecclesiaticus 19:6-11 v.6"He that can rule his tongue shall live without strife; and he that hates babbling shall have less evil. v.7 Rehearse not unto another that which is told unto you, and you shall fare never the worse...v.10 If you heard a word let it die with you; and be bold, it will not burst you."

Let's hold our tongue family, hold that secret, speak only to edify. I am thankful for the one tongue.

Shalom
