Todah! And put bay leaves in to keep out the bugs. I’ve gotten icing buckets from Walmart or firehouse subs to increase the protection from insects as well.

Does anyone have any ideas, on water storage? I have a pallet and a half, as I heard that when you store water in 5 to 55 gallon drums you have to treat the water, however; the individual 16 oz bottles don't require treatment but coast more. I plan on getting another half a pallet, or a more.

Shabbat Shalom as for drinking water it kind of varies. With pallets I’m not sure other than keeping a tarp around it to keep the sun rays at a minimum. But for other use I bought a food grade container wash it very well and I put a little bleach in it to have control over any possible algae.

Coconut has 13 grams of protein. It's one of the nuts we should all have on hand during the coming famine. And by the coming famine, I'm talking about when 'the grid' goes down hemisphere wide. It's going to happen as they are planning for it to happen. Have plenty of greens and seeds on hand (even if it's hybrid seeds because even those seeds will produce 2 harvests of the original crop before it doesn't anymore), We should all know which veggies have protein and magnesium and all the vitamins we need to survive the famine before we're all out of here for good.
