But my question is this…. What do you guys say when family, friends, or coworkers still call on “God” or Jesus or say Lord” around you?
Do you correct and explain the truth then and there or do you just let it slide ?

1636083284Some of us are still learning (talking about myself here :-) It is a new walk for me, honestly. So, I would rather learn from example. So instead of correcting the family member or friend just use the correct term when in their presence. They may even open up to you and ask you questions about it...To me that would lead to less defensiveness...I grew up in a very ultra conservative "Christian" denomination. I am still a member even though I haven't attended physical services in over a year. Anyways, I know how sometimes followers can turn people away who are honestly trying to learn. I know I have to "check" my spirit to make sure what I am saying is not coming from a place of control... I still say Jesus. I am training myself (if you can call it that) to use Yeshua. Now, when I say my prayers when I find myself saying Jesus and I catch myself I will say Yeshua. Growing up in the conservative church denomination I attended I often feared and loath the classes because I was so afraid to say the wrong thing. It was very shaming. It literally took the love and joy out of learning for me! If someone corrected me every time I didn't say His name right I would probably run for the hills, lol. Everyone has a different history and baggage so it is good to be cognizant or sensitive to what they may have gone through.

Shalom, Family! I have released my newest album, "Trust", which is available on all the streaming apps.
Here is one of the songs. It is called "In My Distress" - it is Psalm 18:6. This entire Psalm is an encouragement to me, and the album actually contains two songs based on it.
I hope it is an encouragement to you as it is to me!
