Prophet - Representative of Elohim to Adam (man), established in the Heavens from the beginning, consummated by His baptism (water) and confirmation (voice) in the Jordan. Who better to represent a Father, but a Son in whom He delights. Mt 3:17
Priest - Representative of the people of Elohim to the Father. This role, commission and office was established upon His sacrifice. He was slaughtered 'outside the gates' (on the earth) and delivered His offering in the Heavens (that Temple upon which the Tabernacle was modeled). It was accepted by the Father for 'He is a priest forever, according to the Order of Melchizedek'. Heb 5:5-6, 10
King - Sovereign governor over the earth and world (land and peoples). This is illustrated beautifully in the parables, He goes away to receive a Kingdom and returns to execute judgment. Mt. 25 (in many passages.
