Shalom Shalom mishpacha I have been on Hebrew connect for over a year but I've never considered connecting to a group until now. I have been just looking and now I'm ready to begin to fellowship, with some like minded brothers and sisters. I've been learning on my own with the help of the ruach ha kodesh for about one year and a half , I also have been following the rebirth of a nation, Hebrew Nation Building for almost 4 years . If anyone care to talk im here to listen .

Shalom y'all! So I'm gonna take a page out of Achoti Sabrina's book and tell you about my experience taking the ITF+ exam on June 1st.
When I got to the testing site, I had to sign some papers, silence me phone, take a picture that did me NO justice, and put my purse in a locker. I had put on a hoodie because I was told the AC was VERY powerful. They lied. It wasn't super hot, but warm enough to not need a hoodie. Ergo, I took the hoodie off within 5 minutes. I thankfully had the experience of having no one in the testing room, and once the machine I chose was booted up I was able to start. Well, after the 10 minute do you understand our regulations survey part. I had shalom during the entire process, Praise YAH.
There were a couple questions asking multiple different parts, including some things on WAN/LAN. Some questions I had absolutely no idea not gonna lie, but I used the process of elimination ALOT. That helped me either find the answer or pick between 2 I didn't really know. I flagged about 2/3 of the test to go back and review my answer. Some questions I found very easy; I didn't have too think twice about them. Others...meh.
When going back through the reviewed questions, it finally occurred to me I was alone and could do practically anything. I did what any hands-on learner would do in my situation: I talked myself through it out loud, spun in my spinny office chair (it was so comfy) to think, and even pulled an Akeelah and the Bee move by tapping my thigh to the rhythm of my words. Once I finished the test, they had me do a survey and then I clicked submit.
I ended up receiving a 560.
For those who do not know, the lowest score a person can get is 100. The highest score is 900. To pass, you must get a 650. There were 65 questions on my test. Doing the math, if I had gotten 6 more questions right, I would have passed.
Going back, I would have focused more on Unit 4: Software Development Concepts and Unit 6: Security, because even though I understood almost everything else pretty well, I knew the bare minimum on those two units. In fact I can recall a couple different questions relating to those units where I was like what is that. Questions that I'm sure if I had known became the difference of me passing and not.
I'm not beating myself up about it, though. I'm going to just study, study, study, and retake it the first week of July.
Main thing though: REMEMBER THE ACRONYMS!!! Even if you have to make catchy little sayings like Sabrina did to remember them, DO IT. And don't just cram last minute. That's the worst idea EVER.
One key nugget I remember Moreh telling us was when taking the test: 2 days before have a lax study session, the day before mostly relax other than some slight review and get good rest, and the day of scan the glossary. I did that and was way more relaxed than otherwise. Stress would have definitely made me miss more questions. I speak from experience.
Again, hope this helps!
