Shalom Family! My sleep was disturbed and I believe the following is why: The news these days are quite disturbing, as we see entire streets and towns burning in Europe. It appears that YAH"S Judgement is now being seen there as Europeans have been and still are our enemies. This may not be the case of YAH"S total Judgement, but a preview for us, Yisrael, to Repent and to make Teshuvah as we know that YAH"S Judgement will start in Yisrael. In my opinion, YAH granting us grace by using the fires in Europe as today's Yonah, as he was told to Nineveh and call them to repentance. Now is the Time To Repent, for all of us to repent and go higher and deeper in HIM and HIS Will. This may not be true of you but I still see areas in my life that are not in total alinement with ABBA YAH and He will not stand for anything but HIS WORD and HIS WILL. So I say, Thanks and Praises to Our Father ABBA YAHUAH for giving us another opportunity to Repent.

Achotim… how much of these issues and struggles within the natural hair community stem from our people not knowing or embracing their true identity as Israel?

King Solomon said it best....'vanity'. And looser curls is not 'privileged' hair and that's really where the argument lies. People actually have it backwards. So because it's all about vanity people will never see the truth about their hair or anything else that has to do with being a true Hebrew Israelite.

I personally believe that not knowing who we are plays a significant part, but also some people really don't know how to care and manage their natural hair. Cosmetology itself is a business (money maker!!!) designed to change the texture of our hair or cover it all together with weaves, braids and wigs. I have been natural for the last 22 years and love my natural hair... but then again, that's been my profession since 1996.

I feel like all of these issues and struggles within the natural hair community have everything to do with not knowing or embracing our true identity as Israel.
We lost so much knowledge and understanding about how to care for ourselves. From how we raise our children, to the proper healthy boundaries for all relationships, right down to what to do with and for our skin nails and hair and we have whored after acceptance from our oppressors with this learned subconscious behavior of self hatred.
Love one another as we love ourselves, are we willing to learn how to love again? ....Why do we have to police and harass each other so much? we even do it in our communities regarding this truth. Ive seen people become truly disturbed in this walk from it. We are healing and we will heal. It takes much accountability and responsibility of some hard truths and i pray for the time and understanding to be restored
