My daughter and I were doing Scripture Reading yesterday. We just ended Wayyiqra (Leviticus) and started Bemiḏbar (Numbers) 1, and I got to verse 17 where it says: "And Mosheh and Aharon took these men who were called by name," and I said, "Wow, Master YAHUAH called these men by name, can you imagine that?"

My 8-year-old daughter, who was listening to the reading while working on some art and crafts, without looking up, said, "And yet, they tried to change His!"

The simplicity and depth of her comment.... We are so incredibly baruch (blessed) to have been reintroduced to our Creator's Name. I am so grateful to be alive at this time to have heard His True Name spoken, to be able to call on it.

It begs the question:
Why do so many insist on calling the Elohim of the Scriptures, 'God' and 'Lord' when He specifically called the leaders of the tribes of Yashar'el by name?

Let Yahuah’s instructions be the true security blanket in life.

Lech-Lecha, go, go for yourself, also come out of. Abraham was called to leave his Land for Yah’s land. To cross over water to the other side. The washing of the previous land, total submersion to remove the residue of that land. The land and the water describe the physical, the surface understanding. What is the meaning spiritual? In the land where Abraham lived, it was idols that his father served. It was his father’s customs that Abraham was called out of. Abraham was called to serve Yah and adopt His Hebraic custom; a land Yah chose for him. And later on, we see Abraham follow it to the end.
When we hear “Lech-Lecha,” what is Yah saying to us? Leave the land you are in spiritually. Leave the customs of the land that are not of Yah. For example, in America, what are the customs, what are the gods of this land? _____________________________________ Use the total submersion of the Word to cross over to Yah’s Hebrew customs. Without bringing the residue of the land you left. In this new land, Yah is the Elohim, and the customs are Hebraic.
