To our incredible community, I'm writing to you today with a heartfelt but difficult message about the future of our HebrewConnect Platforms.
For the past five years, I have been honored and immensely proud to host, maintain, and grow this platform as a passion project. I have personally carried the full financial burden of keeping HC & HCTV online—covering server costs, maintenance, development, and all the unseen expenses that keep a platform running smoothly.
To those of you who have donated over the years, please know your support was deeply appreciated and incredibly helpful in those moments. Thank you.
The Challenge We Face
While I remain deeply committed to our community and the mission of HebrewConnect Media, I have reached a point where I can no longer sustain the platform financially on my own. Due to highly aggressive attacks against our platforms, the costs of operation have consistently outpaced the community support, and I can no longer justify going into a significant personal deficit to keep the site active.
This isn't a decision I take lightly. I still want this platform to thrive, and I am still willing and able to invest my own time and resources into its growth. But I can no longer do it alone. The reality is, if the financial support for HebrewConnect & HebrewConnectTV isn't more consistent, we won't be able to keep the platform online in the long term.
