This Sabbath, let us make a joyful noise unto Yahuah (Psalm 100:1). When we lift our voices in praise, Yahuah dwells among us, for He inhabits our praise (Psalm 22:3), filling our hearts with His presence and peace. Singing, clapping, and rejoicing in Yahuah our Elohim.
We can lead by example. When our children see us praising Yah, they will learn to follow and do the same. HALLELUYAH!
Children learn by example, and our worship teaches them to love and honor Yahuah.
For those of you who have not yet seen it, my newest episode of Adiraโs Bible Adventures: โChoose You This Day Whom You Will Serveโ is perfect for you and your kids to enjoy together this Sabbath. You can also check out our playlist of sing-alongs for even more fun and Torah-based learning.
Shalom and blessings to you and your family this Sabbath!
Berฤshith (Genesis) 2:1-3 TS2009 [1] Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array. [2] And in the seventh day Aluah completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. [3] And Aluah blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Aluah in creating had made.
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:8-11 TS2009 [8] โRemember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. [9] โSix days you labour, and shall do all your work, [10] but the seventh day is a Sabbath of ืืืื your Aluah. You do not do any work โ you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. [11] โFor in six days ืืืื made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore ืืืื blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.
Debฬฑarim (Deuteronomy) 4:2 TS2009 [2] โDo not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, so as to guard the commands of ืืืื your Aluah which I am commanding you.
Yeshayah (Isaiah) 58:13-14 TS2009 [13] โIf you do turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My set-apart day, and shall call the Sabbath โa delight,โ the set-apart day of ืืืื โesteemed,โ and shall esteem it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, [14] then you shall delight yourself in ืืืื. And I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Yaโaqobฬฑ your father. For the mouth of ืืืื has spoken!โ
Jubilees 2:16-21 Apocrypha [16] And He finished all His work on the sixth day--all that is in the heavens and on the earth, and in the seas and in the abyssess, and in the light and in the darkness, and in everything. [17] And He gave us a great sign, the Sabbath day, that we should work six days, but keep Sabbath on the seventh day from all work. [18] And all the angels of the presence, and all the angels of sanctification, these two great classes--He has hidden us to keep the Sabbath with Him in heaven and on earth. [19] And He said unto us: "Behold, I will separate unto Myself a people from among all the peoples, and these will keep the Sabbath day, and I will sanctify them unto Myself as My people, and will bless them; as I have sanctified the Sabbath day and do sanctify unto Myself, even so shall I bless them, and they will be My people and I shall be their Aluah. [20] And I have chosen the seed of Ya'aqob from amongst all that I have seen, and have written him down as My first-born son, and have sanctified him unto Myself for ever and ever; and I will teach them the Sabbath day, that they may keep Sabbath thereon from all work. [21] And thus He created therein a sign in accordance with which they should keep Sabbath with us on the seventh day, to eat and to drink, and to bless Him who hath created all things as He hath blessed and sanctified unto Himself a peculiar people above all peoples, and that they should keep Sabbath together with us.
Let us keep His Set-Apart day, the Shabbat, for He chose us, and us alone, Yashar'al to keep His Shabbat. Hallelu Yahuah ๐๐พ ๐๐พ ๐๐พ ๐๐พ ๐๐พ ๐๐พ ๐๐พ ๐๐พ ๐๐พ
