I am studying about the Hebrew prophets of Yah. 1. Their function is to have the Word of Yah in their mouth. 2. To be able to read, proclaim, to give understanding to the listener of the Torah (Genesis to Revelation). (Isaiah 29:10-12, Micah 3:6) 2a. They are able to give a Hebraic and spiritual understanding of the stories and parables in the Torah. This defines the prophets of Yah.
Do you remember, "My people are destroyed because of a lack of knowledge?" That lack really was a refusal to read and listen to the Torah. But also, the verse before this is that the prophets would be blind. Unable to give understanding to the people.
The people will go to the prophets and ask Read this, give me understanding. And they will reply, "I CAN"T!"

1764612562Brother, I don't believe in coincidences. I literally read that specific chapter in Yeshayahu this morning. Those verses were amusing: He said that the vision will be locked up like a sealed book and then they would try to carry it to someone who knows books, but they will say, "I can't, it's sealed" or to someone who does not know books and they will say, "I can't, I don't know books."😅Honestly, when reading the prophets, I ask for revelation because those words are hard to understand. But what did come to mind after reading this chapter (not necessarily based on the words themselves) was that prophets were never the most popular back in the day, and I wondered how much less they would be in our current "likes" and "approval-hungry" generation. Then, I found myself praying for those sent by YAH to be bold enough to speak His word, regardless of the acceptance, because that is not to be expected. 🙏
